Ans: Take suminat tablet as soon as possible, if only your migraine headache has started. Do not take it to prevent an attack. Take this medicine as instructed by your doctor.

Ans: No, suminat tablet is not used for the prevention of migraine attacks. It is only be used when a clear diagnosis of migraine has been made.
4. What should I tell my doctor before taking the suminat tablet?
Ans: Before taking suminat tablet, you must inform your doctor if you had any previous history of allergic to suminat tablet or antibiotics (sulphonamides), having any medical conditions such as heart problems or already had a heart attack, stroke, hypertension, circulation problems in legs, severe liver disease or kidney disease, had a history of seizures, using any medications related to migraine headache or any antidepressants or if you are under 18 years or 40-year women who have been through menopause. Inform your doctor if you have a habit of smoking/ a heavy smoker, or using any nicotine replacement therapy and if you are pregnant or thinking to plan a pregnancy and a lactating mother. It is also important to inform your doctor if you have had short-lived chest pain and tightness.
