Babies: Not applicable.
Lactating mothers: It is considered safe if prescribed by a doctor during breastfeeding.

Pregnancy: Suminat tablets may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Driving: Suminat is considered unsafe during driving as it may make you feel drowsy or dizzy.

Dose adjustment may be needed.

Not to use in a migraine attack.
• Avoid bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud music, noisy places, chocolates, cheese, processed food, alcohol and smoking.
• Get adequate sleep and avoid stress.
• Inform your doctor if migraine occurs more often after using this medication.
• Inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions such as stomach pain, headache, bloody diarrhoea or worsening high blood pressure and had a history of heart disease or stroke.
• This medication may make you drowsy or dizzy.
Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
• Your blood pressure should be checked regularly.
• You should keep a headache diary by writing down when you have headaches and take sumatriptan.
• Do not let anyone else take your medication..
• Suminat + Bromocriptine, dihydroergotamine, frovatriptan: Concurrent use of these drugs may result in an increased risk of prolonged vasospastic reaction.
• Suminat + Almotriptan, eletriptan: Concurrent use of these drugs may result in an increased risk of vasospastic reaction.
• Suminat + Antidepressants: Concurrent use of these drugs may result in an increased risk of serotonin syndrome.
• Suminat + Serotonergic agents: Concurrent use of these drugs may result in an increased risk of serotonin syndrome.
• Suminat + Clovaxamine, femoxetine: Concurrent use of these drugs may result in an increased risk of weakness, hyperreflexia and incoordination..
