Tynept-OD 10 Tablets

Babies: It is not applicable. Lactating mothers: It is contraindicated in lactating women; studies have shown evidence of medicine in breast milk.
Consult your doctor. Pregnancy: It is contraindicated in pregnancy.
Seek doctor’s advice. Driving: Tynept tablet may decrease alertness, affects vision and may cause dizziness & sleep.
Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Alcohol: Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking tynept tablets.
Kidney: Tynept tablets should be used in caution with patients suffering from kidney disease. Dosage adjustment and regular monitoring of kidney function may be required.
Seek a doctor’s advice before using this medication. Liver: Studies have suggested that limited information is available on use of tynept tablets in patients with liver disease.

Tynept tablet is a tricyclic anti-depressant, it works by increasing the level of chemical messengers in the brain that stabilizes and enhances the mood. It is also used to enhance and brighten up the mood.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily. Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..

• It may take 4 to 6 weeks for the tynept tablet to start working. Keep taking it as prescribed • It may cause sleepiness.
Take it at bedtime and do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you • Avoid consuming alcohol when taking tynept tablet as it may cause excessive sleepiness • Monitor your weight during the treatment as this medicine can cause weight gain and increased appetite • It may cause a sudden drop in your blood pressure. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down • Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts • Do not stop taking medicine without talking to your doctor first.

• Tynept + Aceclofenac: Concurrent use may increase the risk or severity of gastrointestinal bleeding • Tynept + Amphotericin b: Concurrent use may increase risk or severity of myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, and myoglobinuria • Tynept + Betamethasone: Concurrent use may increase the metabolism of tynept • Tynept + Donepezil: Concurrent use may increase the risk or severity of adverse effects • Tynept + Ibuprofen: Concurrent use may increase the risk or severity of gastrointestinal bleeding • Tynept + Trimethoprim: Concurrent use may increase the risk or severity of myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, and myoglobinuria • Tynept + Valproic acid: Concurrent use may increase the metabolism of tynept • Tynept + Vinblastine: Concurrent use may increase the metabolism of tynept • Tynept + Warfarin: Concurrent use may increase the risk or severity of bleeding • Tynept + Zofenopril: Concurrent use may decrease the antihypertensive activities of zofenopril.
