Sotret tablet is used in the treatment of acne. It reduces the production of sebum that causes acne and kills acne-causing bacteria. It prevents spots, pimples and inflammation. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed by your doctor. Sometimes acne may get worse before it gets better. Use protective measures such as sunscreen or protective clothing.
• Sotret + Phenytoin: Concurrent use may cause increased sotret levels in your body • Sotret + Minocycline: Concurrent use may decrease the absorption of sotret and make the medication less effective against acne-causing bacteria • Sotret + Prednisone: Concurrent use may decrease the excretion rate of sotret and increases the serum concentration level • Sotret + Acitretin: Concurrent use may cause an increased risk of adverse effects.
