if you miss a dose of Rantac DOM take it as soon as possible. If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily. Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..

• take your medication on an empty stomach regularly as directed by your physician • avoid taking soft drinks, citrus fruits like orange, lemon while taking this medicine. these may irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion • avoid consuming alcohol when taking rantac tablet as it may irritate your stomach and also cause excessive drowsiness • inform your doctor if you experience diarrhoea, fever or stomach pain that does not go away.

• domperidone + cetirizine: concurrent use may provoke impaired activity of domperidone • domperidone + amiodarone: concurrent use may increase the risk of adverse effects • ranitidine + metformin: concurrent use may lead to a risk of lactic acidosis • ranitidine + atazanavir: concurrent use may decrease the excretion rate of ranitidine and increases the serum concentration level.
