Rabitoch tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (ppi). It works by reducing the amount of acid liberated by the stomach and relieves the pain associated with heartburn and acid reflux. Rabitoch is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease. It may help improve your symptoms by usually eating smaller meals and avoiding caffeinated drinks like tea and coffee

Babies: Not applicable.
Lactating mothers: This tablet is considered unsafe to use during breastfeeding.
Limited human studies state that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy: This tablet is considered unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Animal studies state that the drug has shown harmful effects on the developing baby.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• Rabitoch is a well-tolerated medicine and provides relief for a long time
• Some healthy tips to prevent acidity: avoid excessive intake of carbonated beverages/soft drinks, citrus juices, fried food, caffeinated beverages like tea and coffee avoid alcohol and smoking avoid eating late at night or before bedtime
• Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhoea, fever or stomach pain that does not go away
• Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention
• Long-term use of this tablet can cause weak bones and a deficiency of minerals such as magnesium.
Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor
• Consult your doctor right away if you develop decreased urination, oedema (swelling due to fluid retention), lower back pain, nausea, fatigue, and rash or fever.
These could be signs of a kidney problem.
Contraindicated • Rabitoch + Rilpivirine: Rabitoch will decrease the level or effect of rilpivirine by increasing gastric ph life-threatening • Rabitoch + Atazanavir: Rabitoch will decrease the level or effect of atazanavir by increasing gastric ph • Rabitoch + Indinavir: Rabitoch will decrease the level or effect of indinavir by increasing gastric ph • Rabitoch + Ketoconazole: Rabitoch will decrease the level or effect of ketoconazole by increasing gastric ph • Rabitoch + Clopidogrel: Rabitoch will decrease the level or effect of clopidogrel by affecting hepatic/intestinal enzyme cyp2c19 metabolism.
