Rabez L is a combination of two medicines: rabeprazole and levosulpiride.
rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (ppi); it works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, which helps to relieve acid-related indigestion and ulcers.
levosulpiride is a prokinetic that works by increasing the release of acetylcholine (a chemical messenger).
this results increase in movement of the stomach & intestines and prevents reflux (acid going up to the food pipe)..
if you miss a dose of Rabez L take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• Rabez L is a well tolerated drug and provides long-term relief
• take one hour before meals, preferably in the morning
• tell your doctor if you have watery diarrhoea, fever, or stomach pain that doesn't go away
• do not drink alcohol while taking these capsules, as it can increase the risk of stomach damage
• long-term use can cause weak or broken bones.
