If you miss to apply the ointment, do it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of next application then skip the missed dose.
Take the next dose at on your regular time.
Don't double the dose to catch up missed dose..
• This medication is advised to treat eye infection and improve your symptoms
• Use this medication twice a day or as directed by your physician.
If your condition is severe, your doctor may advise you to use them up to four times a day
• Do not touch the tip of the ointment tube to any surface or to your eye to avoid contamination
• Tell your physician if you are allergic to this medication
• This ointment is for external use only
• Apply pressure on the opening of the eye (near to the nose) for nearly 1 minute, soon after applying.
This will avoid the medication from draining out
• Take care to prevent spreading the disease from one eye to the other and your family members.
Rinsing your hands regularly and not sharing towels or cushions will allow preventing the disease from spreading
• Eye infections make your eyes more sensitive to sunlight than usual.
Wear sunglasses to avoid this condition.
