Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients Myasthenia gravis Narrow-angle glaucoma Functional or organic gastrointestinal obstruction including pyloric stenosis, paralytic ileus intestinal atony Patients with ileostomy, colostomy, toxic megacolon, severe ulcerative colitis Patients with bladder outflow obstruction where urinary retention may be precipitated Frequent urination at night caused by heart or kidney disease.
Babies: Not applicable.
Lactating mothers: Oxyspas tablet is considered safe to use during breastfeeding.
Limited human data state that the drug does not represent any serious risk to the baby.
Pregnancy: Oxyspas tablet is considered safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies state that the drug has shown low or no adverse effects on the developing baby.
However, there are limited studies.
Driving: It is unsafe to drive while taking this medication as it may cause side effects such as drowsiness or have blurred vision which could affect your ability to drive.
Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol and this tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Kidney: Oxyspas tablets should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• Oxyspas tablet treats symptoms of an overactive bladder by lowering the urge to urinate and controlling urination
• Avoid alcohol consumption, caffeine, and carbonated drinks as they can worsen your symptoms
• It may cause dizziness and blurring of vision.
Don't drive or do any activity that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you
• Dry mouth, dry eyes, and constipation may occur as a side effect.
Maintain good oral hygiene, drink water frequently, chew sugarless gum, and wear contact lenses with caution
• This medication usually takes up to 4 weeks before you notice any improvement in your symptoms.
Continue the medicine as prescribed.
• Oxyspas + Levodopa: Concurrent use of these both anticholinergic drugs may potentiate the effect of anticholinergic activity • Oxyspas + Phenothiazines: Concurrent use of these both anticholinergic drugs may potentiate the effect of anticholinergic activity • Oxyspas + Clozapine: Concurrent use of these both anticholinergic drugs may potentiate the effect of anticholinergic activity • Oxyspas + Ketoconazole: Concomitant administration with cyp3a4 inhibitors can inhibit oxybutynin metabolism and increase oxybutynin exposure • Oxyspas + Erythromycin: Concomitant administration with cyp3a4 inhibitors can inhibit oxybutynin metabolism and increase oxybutynin exposure • Oxyspas + Metoclopramide: Oxybutynin antagonises the effect of prokinetic therapies • Oxyspas + Domeperidone: Oxybutynin antagonises the effect of prokinetic therapies.
