Active, or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage Severely impaired liver function Asthma Nasal polyps Angioneurotic oedema Urticaria Third trimester of pregnancy Treatment of perioperative pain after coronary artery bypass graft (cabg) surgery Children and adolescents aged under 16 years Non-dialysed severe renal failure Gastrointestinal bleeding, cerebrovascular bleeding or other bleeding disorders; Severe heart failure.
Babies: Not applicable.
Lactating mothers: Muvera tablet is considered safe to use during breastfeeding, and limited human data state that the drug does not represent any severe risks to the baby.
Pregnancy: Muvera tablet is considered unsafe to use during pregnancy.
However, there are limited studies in humans, and animal studies state that the drug has harmful effects on the developing baby.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• To avoid stomach upset, take the medication with food or milk • It can cause severe complications like stomach bleeding and kidney problems if taken for a long time • Muvera tablets can increase your risk of blood clots, heart attack, or stroke • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, intend to be pregnant, or breastfeeding • Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems • Inform your doctor if you have been scheduled to undergo coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
Contraindicated • Muvera + Ketorolac: Concurrent use of these drugs either increases the toxicity of the other by pharmacodynamic synergism • Muvera + Ketorolac intranasal: Concurrent use of these drugs either increases the toxicity of the other by pharmacodynamic synergism Serious • Muvera + Captopril: Coadministration may result in a significant decrease in renal function. Nsaids may diminish the antihypertensive effect of ace inhibitors • Muvera + Methotrexate: Mefenamic acid increases levels of methotrexate by decreasing renal clearance • Muvera + Apixaban: Concurrent use of these drugs increases anticoagulation Monitor closely • Muvera + Chlorothiazide: Mefenamic acid increases and chlorothiazide decreases serum potassium • Muvera + Citalopram: Concurrent use of these drugs either increases the toxicity of the other by pharmacodynamic synergism • Muvera + Clopidogrel: Concurrent use of these drugs either increases the toxicity of the other by pharmacodynamic synergism • Muvera + Cholestyramine: Cholestyramine decreases levels of muvera by inhibition of gi absorption • Muvera + Lithium: Muvera increases levels of lithium by decreasing renal clearance.
