METOSARTAN tablet is a combination of two medications. It is a beta-adrenergic blocker that acts on the heart and reduces heart rate and blood pressure.
It is an angiotensin receptor blocker that acts on blood vessels and causes relaxation, thereby decreasing high blood pressure. Thus, this medication helps to reduce increased blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.

If you miss a dose of METOSARTAN, take it as soon as possible. If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily. Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
