JOLLTRIM-DS tablet is consists of two antibiotics which are sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. these antibiotics work by preventing bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient that bacteria need to multiply.
together they will effectively treat your infection..

If you miss a dose, take JOLLTRIM-DS as soon as possible. If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose. Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..

• you have been prescribed JOLLTRIM-DS tablets to treat various types of bacterial infections • take folic acid supplements with these medications • do not stop using this tablet as prescribed, even if you feel better. early withdrawal can lead to re-infection and be more difficult to treat • Diarrhoea can occur as a side effect but should stop after the course is finished.
tell your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stool • stop taking this tablet and tell your doctor if you develop a rash/blistering or other unexplained skin reaction while using this medication • in cases of long-term use, have regular monthly blood tests to monitor your blood cells as recommended by your doctor.
