1. Does gemcal nasal spray need to be refrigerated?
Ans: Yes, the unopened bottle will be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature between 2°c and 8°c. You must store the opened bottle at room temperature between 15°c and 30°c for up to 35 days.
2. Can calcitonin nasal spray reduce the calcium levels in blood?
Ans: Yes, this medication decreases the levels of calcium in your blood. Consult your doctor if you notice any signs of numbness or tingling in your fingers, toes, or around your mouth.
3. How to use calcitonin nasal spray?
Ans: Read the label for directions. Use it once daily. Take 1 spray in the left nostril on day 1, and then take 2 sprays in the right nostril on day 2. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close another nostril. After spraying, take a breathe gently and keeps your head upright. Each set of the bottle has 30 doses. Discard after 30 days of opening the bottle.
