GATILOX DM eye drops are a combination of two drugs: dexamethasone and gatifloxacin. Dexamethasone is a steroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make red eyes swollen and itchy.
Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic. This kills bacteria in the eye and prevents them from multiplying and recovering.

If you miss a dose of these sterile eye drops, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

• Even if you feel better, do not miss a dose of GATILOX DM and take the entire course of treatment • Immediately after instilling the drops, press the corners of your eyes (near your nose) for about 1 minute • If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before using these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in • Wait at least 5-10 minutes before administering the next medication to the same eye to avoid dilution • These sterile eye drops can cause blurred vision.
