Feza capsule is used to treat a form of leprosy, also known as hansen's disease, called lepromatous leprosy, including dapsone-resistant lepromatous leprosy and lepromatous leprosy complicated by erythema nodosum leprosum. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.

• Consume plenty of water and keep yourself well-hydrated while on medication.
• Alcohol consumption need to be avoided while on this medication as it may lead to severe liver damage.
• Pregnancy needs to be avoided for six months from the last stopped dose, as it may cause harmful effects to the baby.
• It is essential that you keep using feza for the entire time of treatment, even if you begin to feel better after a few months.
• You may have to take it every day for a long duration.
If you stop using this medicine too soon, your symptoms may recur and worsen..
• Feza + Cisapride: Concurrent use leads to an increase in feza levels by decreasing the renal clearance of feza.
• Feza + Sparfloxacin: Concurrent use leads to synergistic effects and may provoke hypersensitivity reactions.
• Feza + Fosphenytoin: Concurrent use leads to nephrotoxicity.
• Feza + Zotepine: Concurrent use leads to an increase in feza levels by decreasing the hepatic clearance of feza.
