If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• Etogesic tablet is prescribed to relieve pain and inflammation
• Take the medication with food or milk to prevent upset stomach
• Take it as in the prescribed dose and duration advised by the doctor.
Long term use may lead to serious complications such as stomach bleeding and kidney problems
• It may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or visual disturbances.
Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration
• Alcohol consumption needs to be avoided while taking this tablet as it can cause excessive drowsiness and increase your risk of stomach problems
• Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease or stroke
• Kidney function, liver function, and levels of blood components are monitored by your doctor regularly if you are taking this medicine for long-term treatment.
Contraindicated
• Etogesic + Ketorolac: Concurrent use of these drugs either increases the toxicity of the other by pharmacodynamic synergism
Serious
• Etogesic + Aspirin: Concurrent use of these drugs increases anticoagulation
• Etogesic + Ramipril: Co-administration of these drugs may result in a significant decrease in renal function.
Nsaids may diminish the antihypertensive effect of ace inhibitors
• Etogesic + Zidovudine: Concurrent use of these drugs results in an increased risk of haematological toxicity
• Etogesic + Prednisolone: Concurrent use of these drugs either increases the toxicity of the other by pharmacodynamic synergism.
