If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.

Contraindicated
• Dabigat + Mifepristone: Concurrent administration may lead to excessive post-abortion bleeding in patients on anticoagulant therapy.
Serious - use alternative
• Dabigat + Phenytoin: Concurrent administration will decrease the level or effect of dabigatran by p-glycoprotein (mdr1) efflux transporter.
Monitor closely
Modify therapy/monitor closely.
• Dabigat + Alteplase: Concurrent administration increase anticoagulation.
Both drugs have the potential to cause bleeding.
Minor
• Dabigat + Chorella: Chlorella decreases the effects of dabigatran by pharmacodynamic antagonism.
