Ans: Carniglo tablets are not steroids. It contains carniglo, a type of protein (made from the amino acids lysine and methionine). It helps transport fat to cells, where it is metabolized to produce energy. It is used to treat primary and secondary carniglo deficiency.
2. When can carnitine deficiency occur?
Ans: There are two types of carnitine deficiency, primary and secondary. The main ones are genetic and can show symptoms up to the age of five.
