If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• Give this syrup to your child with food or milk to avoid stomach upset • Your child should not take more than four doses of this medicine in 24 hours, so wait up to 6 hours between doses • Never give other formulations containing calpol with this medication as it can cause serious side effects • Tell your doctor if your child has a liver disease as the dose may need to be adjusted • If this syrup doesn't seem to be helping your child, see your doctor. Major • Calpol + Imatinib: Concurrent use may lead to increased calpol levels • Calpol + Isoniazid: Concurrent use may lead to increased risk of hepatotoxicity Moderate • Calpol + Acenocoumarol: Concurrent use may result in potentiation of anticoagulation effect • Calpol + Phenytoin: Concurrent use may lead to decreased calpol effectiveness and an increased risk of hepatotoxicity.
