m cin hydrochloride injection belongs to the class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. it works by killing the bacteria that cause infections. m cin hydrochloride injection is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria such as pneumonia, skin and abdominal (stomach area) infections. m cin injection is also used to prevent and treat plague. it may also be used to treat bronchitis or
hypersensitivity to m cin, other quinolones pregnancy and lactation. patients below 18 years of age. patients with a history of tendon disease/disorder related to quinolone treatment. congenital or acquired qt prolongation bradycardia heart failure previous history of symptomatic arrhythmias .
babies: contraindicated.

• m cin hcl + melatonin: the metabolism of melatonin can be decreased when combined with m cin.
• m cin hcl + adenosine: the risk or severity of qt prolongation can be increased when m cin is combined with adenosine..
