Contrary to popular opinion, dark chocolate is very good for skin care for the winter and does not contribute to weight gain. "Cocoa flavanol," a substance found in it, is known to moisturize skin and enhance blood circulation in the body. Due to the presence of antioxidants, dark chocolate protects the skin from free radicals and reduces the signs of aging.
Surprisingly tea not just refreshes the mind; it can also help with skin care in winter for dry skin. Tea has polyphenols, which maintain the levels of oil in the skin relieving the skin from dryness. A cup of tea every day is beneficial.
A healthy diet is closely related to healthy skin. It's crucial to adopt a healthy and hydrating diet that supports skincare for the winter. Some of the winter foods for maintaining healthy skin include avocados, almonds, sunflower seeds or oil, sweet potatoes, bell peppers, omega-3 fatty fish, citrus fruits, coconut, olive oil, etc.
In winter, dry and cracked skin is unpleasant, and in some situations, it can cause skin issues.
